This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the record chasers, are the only things left for a team that has accomplished all there is.

It needed up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It's difficult for their batsmen to possess a record if never given the chance.

Finally, the result of Australia giving up 330 runs was captain Alyssa Healy getting a platform to deliver her newest gem.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the assurance to do that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, if necessary, we know we can succeed."

Those words will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this World Cup want to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this victory succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.
