WHere is a simplified interpretation of a beverage from a new cocktail list. It's a party-sized pre-mixed that's packed full of essence associated with Christmas time, which makes it excellent for hosting a festive gathering. Save the extra cordial to use in brunch beverages, sweets, or to make more rounds of this cocktail.

Serves 10 servings
For the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Drink (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed components in a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating to dissolve. After that, remove from the heat allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Pour into an sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the fridge, it can be stored for around one month.
For the Premix: Mix every liquid ingredients into a sizeable container, let it rest for 60 minutes, then pass it through , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.
For serving: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base into a mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate lightly for about 60 seconds until cold. Filter into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries and finish with a light spray of the essential oil over the drink.
